Plan Your Visit

Hello, and welcome to South Coast Baptist Church! We know that a big difficulty in visiting new places is not knowing what to expect. So here are some things we hope will help to answer some of your questions and put you at ease visiting for the first time.

  • Where do I park?

Chapala Street offers free on-street parking that is unlimited on Sundays, and the Paseo Nuevo parking garages on Chapala are available with the first 75 minutes free and $3.00 an hour afterwards. There is elevator access both from the parking garages and up into WorkZones itself.

  • How do you find us?

We are meeting in a large meeting room at WorkZones. This is a second-story establishment across the way from 805 Boba. There will be sandwich signs outside beside the stairs and elevator that lead into the building. Once you have climbed the stairs or used the elevator, you will arrive in a short hallway that leads directly to our meeting place.

  • What should you wear?

We desire that everyone feels welcome. Any Sunday you will likely find some in more traditional church clothes and others in more casual attire. The important thing to us is that you are there, not what you wear.

  • What are services like?

Our services are simple, and you will not be asked to say anything or speak in front of anyone! Our services are a time to sing praises to the Lord in our hymns, to listen to special music, and to hear from our Pastor as he preaches from the Word of God.

  • What about your children?

Your children are just as welcome as you are! We will provide childcare for babies and young children that may have difficulty sitting for a longer period of time. They will be well taken care of by vetted volunteers in a room down the hall prepared for them.
